Problem with burned "Live CD"

I just got it and I'm trying to turn one 40 minute live set (single wave file) into a cd which has tracks placed at the beginning of each song. I thought I followed all of the directions but when I play the cd, after the first track is done, it won't read the next track and won't skip to any other tracks (although it acknowledges that they are there)

Here's what I did (I think)
Imported the single 40 minute wav
click where I wanted each song to begin, and then hit "S" (to split them)
zoomed in to make the crossfading a bit closer together (was a small blip)
highlighted the entire selection and then used "create tracks from media region
Burned the cd.

No errors or anything.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance...very new to this program.

The way I did it when I (successfully) did a project like the one you describe is:
In the timeline of my original single 50-minute-long track, find the point where the "second" song starts, then do INSERT TRACK.
Ditto, then, for all the other songs.

No crossfades are necessary (or desirable, because I want the whole thing to play through without pause, if the user doesn't choose to go to a particular track).

I found the documentation pretty confusing, when I was trying to figure out how to accomplish this. But the simple method described above worked just right.

okay I tried that, and it was much easier but the tracks after one still won't play. any other ideas? The burn works fine (no errors)

I just tried this (0 length pause times) and it worked fine.

In CDA5, does it skip to track 2 and 3 properly when you use the "previous track" and "next track" buttons on the CDA5 transport while playing? Does your track list show 3 tracks? Does the CD player show 3 tracks?

Try it again with at least two seconds between the track markers (shorten tracks 1 and 2). If that works, it might be a problem with your burn drive.

ok I'll go ahead and try it the other way. yes when I play it it works fine on the emulation thing.... I was just wondering if i missed a step or something.

ok i tried it with the 2 second space and it still didn't work. does that mean it's just a burner problem?

my burner works fine in nero and adaptec.
