I have posted this topic on Vegas Video forum, but there was no answer. Have decided to repeat topic on Scripting forum, because subject is little bit more advanced.

I have problem in my system connected with Closed Captioning (or even markers) synchro with timeline. Reported problem to SCS support, but they can't repro (I'm very surprised, because in my setup, problem is possible to recreate in 100% of tests)... so I have to find root of problem in my system.

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM :

Synchro procedure from View/Edit Detail window (sequence of CTRL+K) is not able to sort markers on timeline properly. To recreate, please, copy this text to Notepad :

00:00:00:00 TEXT mytextone Line 001
00:00:00:00 TEXT mytexttwo Line 002
00:00:00:00 TEXT mytextthree Line 003
00:00:00:00 TEXT mytextfor Line 004

then replace spaces with TAB character (like in TSV file) and perform procedure of syncho with TL :

- select entire text in Notepad and Copy
- open Edit Details window,
- presort on Comments,
- Paste text prepared before in Notepad,
- select first row (first marker) to instert,
- press PLAY,
- start sequence on CTRL+K to insert markers on right positions in TL.

This procedure with this file example works for me properly in SVP9e, but doesn't work in SVP10a at all : result is, that markers are NOT SORTED PROPERLY (result is like this Line 4, line 2, line 1, line 3).

Could anybody confirm this in his system ? or any sugestion ?
