Problem with DVDA

I recently completed a commercial DVD using Vegas and DVDA exclusively. Now I've asked Doug Spotted Eagle about this and it sort of made him wonder as well but since I've had DVDA and Vegas I've burned dozens if not hundreds of DVD's for clients.
But in this latest release once it was finished the disc had problems with fast forwarding and skipping in PS2's and PC dvd players. They worked fine everywhere else except those.

Now we've tried DVD+r DVD-r DVD+-r almost anything that we could think of. We made 9 versions of the DVD double checking settings, end actions, etc. EVERYTHING.

Now I'm starting to get those emails about "your dvd sucks, I cant fast forward or skip... etc. etc. etc." Kind of baffled here with no idea for a solution. I'm getting ready to develop another DVD soon and I dont want to have to ask one of my MAC friends to help me author it because DVDA is sooo damn easy to use.

Any suggestions?!?!?

I'm not entirely clear here - are you saying you didn't have issues with DVDA2 but are now encountering issues with DVDA3?

1....Possibilty that your laser is slightly out of alignment on the burner.
2....Slightly different batch of discs will exhibit those characteristics when lets say you are recording 8x discs at 4x.
3....Burn 8x discs at 8x, 4x discs at 4x, etc, and if that doesn't work I don't know but I would bet the farm it is not a software problem. It's a disc or burner firmware problem.
