I re-installed my OS so now I got to register again on a lot of sites, including Sundance. I want sign in, everything works except there's no more veg Files, no more Forum, no more Tutorials... is the site temporarily down and if not, what am I doing wrong?
Interesting. I just transitioned to a new computer, re-registered and can't get any action there either. Someone said they've had some bugs with the server.
It shouldn't be necessary to re-register at the site. You have a month-old registration there that's still valid. If you've forgotten your password, the login screen has a link to send it to you.
If you're seeing an error, feel free to e-mail me with the specifics and I will look into it. I'm fairly sure the site hasn't been down because I can see continuous, minute-by-minute activity in the log for some time now.
I just tried the Sundance site again and I still get the 'no files/no tutorials' message. I first noticed it last night (Saturday) but thought that they might just be doing maintenance...anyway, I still am having problems...Win98se/IE6.0 and this worked previously.
No problems at this point. On Sunday through Monday afternoon, it went down for some inexplicable reason. Same thing happened the last time we had an issue with a particular forum about a month ago shortly after a trade show in LA. The folks at Ikano/Sisna are investigating, as it's absolutely an outside thing. Either way, Jason is pretty much on top of registration stuff, he built the site so has it in good hands.
But please, do let us know DIRECTLY if you are having issues! We don't get into the SOFO forums every day like we should, and we're not allowed to post on the other forums. So it's here or the DMN to find us, or mail directly
