Problem with Text Fonts....

I recently had to format my Laptop due to a problem not related to Vegas...

It's a Sony Vaio and I reloaded the complete Sony bundle from the Recovery/Application discs....

Well, i recently reinstalled Vegas Video 3.0 and noticed it doesn't have as many text fonts as it used to...

Stuff like Mistral, Script, Space Toaster (all of which I usually use the most) aren't listed in the text editor...

How do I replace those text fonts?

Is there like a Vegas Service Pack I can download?

Thanx

Rick

There are no fonts in vegas. You must have got them somewhere else. Now you must reinstall that application to get the fonts back.

Vegas only uses TrueType fonts. I don't know about Space Toaster, but i do know that neither Mistral or Script (the standard ones that used to come with Windows) are not TrueType.

Hmm

Here are a few short videos I made with VV 3.0 using some of the named text....

I just assumed the text fonts came with Vegas because I've never seen them in any of my other programs....

Nope,
no fonts ship with VV. There was a bug in early version of 4.0 that let you use raster fonts with horrible results. Don't know if that existed in 3.0.

You could try using a font manager like Font Thing to see if you've got any fonts that haven't been installed.
