See https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/sony-vegas-vs-vegas--119881/

Did you purchase Vegas Pro 18 legally from Vegas Creative Software or one of its legitimate resellers, or from a pirate or cracked website who often title the product as being from Sony?

There is a version 18 now...I came here looking for the same answer.

I use a 48" and 50" TV for monitors...the font for say markers is no bigger than a small laptop (like a 4 font).

How can I make the text big enuf to actually read?

Thanks very much,

Randy

Has nothing to do with Vegas but all with your Windows settings.
Go to your system settings and change the scale and lay-out settings untill it is good for you.
After that most of the time you have to change in Vegas the lay-out of your visible windows in your menu View/Layout

You can experiment with the DPI override settings. Right-click the VP launch <.exe> or shortcut, select "Properties> Compatibility to access the 'DPI 'setting. If that does nothing to your liking, you can change the Windows global display DPI settings by increasing the percentage. But...(big butt) that will make most most everything on the PC's display larger. The display's resolution can be set lower to make things large as well. I have my Laptops 4k display set to 1920x1080 with the DPI at 175% for my old less-than-perfect eyes.

What you suggest works for all fonts including Vegas but it makes no difference in the text of markers...surely there is a way to make the font bigger for markers?

My displays are set about like your laptop except I have them at 150%...makes no difference in the font of the markers for me...you being like me eyesight wise, is your text large when naming a marker?

is your text large when naming a marker?

I do not think so @Randy Brown, as I usually end up using upper-case text for important markers regions and such.

Magix products are designed for folks with large monitors and perfect (or better) eyesite.. all others be damned. (I see a class action discrimination suit on the horizon).

hmm, just seems weird it would affect all text in Vegas except for the markers...oh well, thanks for your time.
