I wish I know what hardware are you have. Most problems with print to tape are hardware problem. Do you have winXP?. If you do then try print to tape using windows movie director and see if will work. Then go fromt there.

Can you print using Vegas' capture utility?

Did you mix up PAL and NTSC output?

well, my dv cam is a sony trv19e. It works in pal dv and I sett vegas in pal. I can print to tape vegas' bars and black of timeline but every picture I tray to print doesn't appear on camera's monitor. I set pal dv in menu files / properties. I don't know to solve this problem

Giaguaro,
If you haven't mixed up Pal and NTSC settings then the next thing I would try is changing the cables in the video path to eliminate that as a factor.

"Your last 2 messages are without . . errrr . . .messages"

Maybe if he added the word "Bump" it would make a little more sense.

Could "DV in" possibly be disabled in your camera? See this thread:

DV in enabled.....

Try putting the camcorder in VCR mode and connect the firewire BEFORE you start the software. Then use the software controls to record and see if it detects it properly.

As far as the problem SonyTSW described, I THINK this page on John Beale's site may work around it.:
