I have been searching for over an hr. trying to figure out what is going on here. Hopefully someone can help me out. Yes, I have been doing searches on the subject and have had no luck solving the problem.

I am trying extract a still photo from video in my time line using Vegas 4.0e. The footage is 24pA footage and, yes the timeline is set to 24fps. I know that I should just be able to put the cursor on the frame that I want to make a still image from, and then go over to the preview window and either hit the "Copy to Clipboard" icon, or the "Save as File" icon. The problem is that neither one of these buttons does anything at all when I press them.

Is there some special setting that I need change some where to make these icons active?

Any advice would be greatly apprectiated.
