Problems Importing MP4 Video from Phone to VMS 9

HELP! I took a bunch of video clips on my phone and when I try to import them to VMS 9 the program won't allow me to drop them into the timeline/project.

I thought that VMS 9 supported MP4 videos. Am I wrong or is there an update/patch that I need to download for them to work?

Please help...thanks.

Well, it supports OUTPUTTING mp4 videos. Importing may get you a bit of a hybrid solution. Particularly when working with video from a phone.

BTW, have you got the latest version of Quicktime installed on your computer? That's an important component of PC-based video editing -- especially when working with files like this.

What kind of mp4 these are? Open the file with Quicktime and read the properties of the format. Also, it's worth considering installing the trial of VMS11, which is better with h.264.
