I have on the timeline 25 short 5D2 MOV files (total around 4 minutes)

I create regions. 25 regions.

I go into script and batch render

I chose AVI and CineForm HD Codec V4.8.0.

Sometimes it renders 2 regions and then crashes
Sometimes it renders 15 regions and then crashes
Sometimes it renders 5 regions and then crashes

Sometimes I get an error message about the codec. Sometimes not.

I now try to do the same but I render to plain uncompressed AVI and leave Cineform out of the operation. Now itrenders all the regions OK every time.

What's the deal rendering to Cineform HD Codec V4.8.0 here?

Why is this so unreliable??? What is so difficult about getting this to work?
