Problems rendering VST FX in DirectiXer

V4 is giving me a terrible time rendering a VST fx wrapped in DirectiXer2.3. When trying to render (in this case TLAudio EQ1), files always come out with spikes (crackle) throughout the file. I have done experiments and find no problem in V2, only V4. Anyone else having this problem?? Bug??

Also render time in V4 is longer - anyone notice this?

Sorry, my mistake: The problem with DirectiXer is that it doesn't even render at all. It just sits there increasing the time remaining while not making any progress.

I then tried it wrapped in VST-DX Adapter and that is where the spikey files come out.
