Hi,
I have had a whinge on here before, mostly about UAD plugins causing problems in Vegas, but now I am experiencing other plugins which aren't compatible with Vegas (Waves Surround, Voxengo Elephant (5.1 settings)). It appears the only 5.1 Comp / Limiter that can be used in Vegas is the aweful WaveHammer.... it affects audio even if you don't want it to.
Is this a Sony or 3rd Party Developer problem? I have spoken to Voxengo and they say they would love to hear back from Sony but Sony won't respond.
I am another step closer to ditching Vegas in favour of Nuendo which supports the above mentioned plugins very nicely. I love how quick and easy Vegas is to get around but it's lack of support with important and widely used 3rd party plugins, is a little disappointing... and, at £600 (and £200 per upgrade), you'd expect a little more than we're getting. It doesn't seem as "pro" as it is claiming if Wavehammer is the best they can support.
Yours sincerely,
Peter
