Problems while capturing video

i capture video and audio from my not-digital video camera using my VIVO-video card and SBlive5-1
after capturing video and audio streams have different length: video stream goes faster then audio
what can be the problem with and how can i fix it

This is not the recommended way to capture! Strongly suggest you look into capturing via firewire to avoid these problems.
You can fix it in Vegas by time stretching the audio, get the start in sync, goto the end of the clip and ctl-drag the audio to get it in sync.
However much better if you capture through an A/D converter such as ADVC-100 or ADVC-300.

If you are stuck with the footage and cannot re-capture, ungroup the audio from the video, press and hold the Ctrl key, and then drag the edge of the audio event until it is the same length as the video event. Let go of the Ctrl key.

If the audio is not synced perfectly after doing this, you may have to shift the audio a few frames to the left or right.
