Problems with .avi renderings (NTSC DV)

Well, I just finished my first two projects using VV3 (i'm not a newbie at VV3, just doing a full blown project at full NTSC). I am trying to figure out the best settings for the rendering. I noticed alot of slow motion clips get very gittery, and quick camera movements pixelate a bit. Any suggestions? I think I got good results using the GOOD setting, and using Gausian Blur for motion blurs. Am I missing something? HELP!

Did you turn on resample for the clips on which you changed speed? If not, try turning on resample (right-click the clip, switches, resample).

Resample option for all slowmo events will fix the gittery look. Not sure about the quick camera movments, but maybe resample will help if those camera movements are in a slomo event.

I use the BEST setting instead of GOOD when rendering to AVI. Probably takes more time, but I want the best results. From what I understand, you need to make a new preset for AVIs and choose BEST there. Choosing BEST under project properties is not used when rendering to AVI since the preset for AVI has its own setting. At least I think so.
