Problems with CD burner

I just bought a HP Pavillion a350N running Windows XP home edition. I have CD Architect 5.0a build 105 in it. I tranferred a cd project from my old computer to my new one. and proceeded to burn a master CD-r to duplicate on my CD duplicator ( a Condre Icon Pro ).

The CD burned and played fine on several CD players however when I tried to load it into my duplicator the duplicator said that the CD had an error in it. I tried loading an older CD-r master burned on the old cd burner which came packaged with the old software (4.0), and that loaded fine on the duplicator.

I then transferred the original audio tracks from the CD-r I burned on my new computer to another HP computer I have and duplicated it with Windows Media Player. That CD-r loaded fine in the duplicator. Which indicates to me that the problem resides in the CD burner of the new HP???

Does anyone know of any issues regarding CD burners on the new Pavillion HP's? Or with CD Architect software not working well on name brand computers?

My computer's burner is an HP DVD Writer 300c

Thanks,

Joseph Armillas
