hello i rip two files from a DVD using same export settings, they are 8000Kb/s and i have two problems
1. When i remake DVD using DVD architect one file who have 4 songs on it dont need to be recompressed and other file which have 10 songs in it it got to be recompressed on prepare DVD with DVD arxhitrect 2 so why they have diferent tretmant, i dont get it cos they have exactly the same configuration 8000kb/s and they are exactly same xported from the original DVD? that recompression it really anoynng me it takes about 2 hours tha procejt bitrate is same 8000...
2. I export mpeg files with AC-3 codec audio and DVD architect dont want to open it! i export DivX with MP3 audio compression and MP3 it's not openning either! but when i export my files like mpeg video, with mpeg audio, that DVD architect opens it with no problems, so i must recompress ac-3 audio to mpeg work on the DVD architect and than in the repair process again back to ac-3 it not really logical? can you help me with this two problems please ... i reallly like DVD architect cos i have liberty to do what ever i want on my DVD's but i hate that recompression and why do i need to recompress files wich are the same setting like project settings? and why do i need to recompress ac-3 to mpeg and then back it again to ac-3 ???

What format are your source files in? DVDA prefers that the video be an MPEG-2 program stream, though it will accept an elementary stream. Also, DVDA wants to put the audio on the DVD in AC3 format (unless you change the project settings to be PCM), so if you've got some other format (for example, MPEG-2 audio), then DVDA will recompress the audio.
