I'd start by trying variables - different brand of media, maybe try +R : some players prefer this, and after preparing only in DVDA, try different burning software.

Other things to tweak - bitrate and burning speed, but only change one thing at a time.

Mr. Wright,

thank you for your support. Which software could I use to burn the DVD using the files from DVDA?

Thanks,

Emilio

Do you have any burning programs such as Nero, Roxio or Record Now DX? I have the latter - it was packaged with my DVD burner.

I just choose to create a data disc and add the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders that DVDA creates.

I have the same problem (Panasonic does well and LG stutters) but I use DVD+R Verbatim blanks and NEC burning drive.

I am thinking, maybe the problem is with the codecs (filters)? Maybe I should chang the merit values of different filters?

I'm having the same problem. Created my first project & the DVD plays perfectly on my computer & JVC DVD player. I sent a couple of copies to family members with different players & they are unable to play it. I used a Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD-R...could that be the problem? You don't have to 'finalise' the disc do you after completing burning in Architect 2 do you? Can't believe this is all so complicated! I have an LG DVD burner.

Playability issues with burned DVD's is the way it is. There's still quite a few DVD players out there that were purchased before the -R media was developed, and even more players that were purchased before +R came out. Any of these early players could have issues playing burned media.

I have found that with older players (and sometimes with newer, picky players), burning +R media with a DVD-ROM booktype has resulted in the best playability. To do this you'll need a burner that supports the setting of the booktype (your LG burner may do this; I know the LG GSA's I have support this, which is why I bought them) and some burning software that supports this, like Nero (and you need to tell Nero to burn with a DVD-ROM booktype).

With Nero you then tell it that you are going to burn DVD Video files, and it handles the rest.

Here are some user reviews on LG burners. Find yours and read the user reviews. Also, you need to ID the media and read the reviews as well. Use one of these programs to read the media ID, then look it up here.
