I have just finished a project with approximately 500 still images and a number of short video clips. This is to show at my daughters wedding. She has asked for a shorter edited version. I have saved the original file with a different name and am now editing it by taking out some of the still images. I need to shorten the length of time that the still images are showing for. At present they are on for six seconds and I want to shorten them to 4.5 seconds. Is there an easy way of doing this. I have tried shortening one image and then copying and then pasting event attributes, but it does not change the length. Any ideas would be welcome.
Also I have tried to alter the length of the transitions. I have put in page peels between the images. I have removed the transitions already between the images, set the length of transitions in OPTIONS/PREFERENCES/EDITING and changed the cut to overlap to 1.5 and the replacement transitions seem adhere to the correct length. However, when I play the project I keep getting fades to black instead of a smooth transition at the start of each still image and I have to go back and remove each transition and then discover a fade which I then have to remove and then replace the transition. Again, has anybody any ideas how to prevent the fades automatically appearing. Many thanks.
