Problems with V6 and IEEE external monitor?

When I set my preview to external monitor with default setting at "Preview Auto" and my Preview Device is set to OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394/DV, I get a lot of screen flicker even when set to Preview Auto. If I select the regular monitor in Vegas 6 or the Windows Secondary Display, it works flawlessly.

When I open up the same projects in Vegas 5, they play perfectly on the IEEE Monitor? Any ideas?

What are you using as a converter device?

I don't have that problem. I am using VIA IEEE card with Canopus ADVC-100. However, I was mostly putting V6 through the paces to look for issues. Didn't spend the same effort looking at the screen as I do when editing/color correcting.
