Procoder Settings

If someone could give me some guidance here, I would appreciate it cause the first few renders I have done with this product have been horrid.

My slide show file is coming out of Vegas, avi uncompressed, best quality, NTSC filter ran, reduce interlace flicker, disable resample.

I am loading this into Procoder demo 1.0 and picking all the highest settings I can and I get a file that looks so terrible on my PC screen. In fact I didn't even burn it to dvd to check it cause I just know it would look awful. Output file has tons of misquito noise, flickering and shimmering in it that it is much worse than the original. I tried applying Adaptive Deinterlace and Gaussian/Circular blur to it but no improvement.

Please help by telling me what settings work best for you.
thx.

I do slideshows all the time with vegas and procoder.

Here is my method:
Insert photos in vegas and project settings on default for PAL
I apply no filters what so ever.
I frameserve to procoder.
My settings for procoder are, source bottom field first PAL
Target is PAL mpg top field first CBR 6000 Mastering .
Absolutely fabulous result.

Your problem sounds like a PAL NTSC issue check your source and destination are the same format.
