There is nothing about 64-bit support on their web site and I just installed the update and it shows up in Vegas Pro 8.0 but NOT in Vegas Pro 8.1 64-bit and so my guess is that Vegas Pro 9.0 64-bit is not supported either. :( This is very disturbing that a company would put out a release for Vegas Pro 9.0 and not support the 64-bit version.

Yes John i would agree, very disturbing.
64 bit seems to be a headache most third party software developers seek to avoid.

Yes. I have Mercalli and I may end up having to let it go because I want to move on to Vegas 64. Heck I remember specifically upgrading my machine and OS almost 2 years ago for the sake of Vegas 64... It's time to move onto it.

Seems that if I can walk into a big box store and see a lot of laptops bundled with Vista64 then it's time for software vendors to start supporting it. The best way for users to move that along is to write to the vendor and ask for it.

Money talks. Let them know you'd be a customer.

There's an email link at the foot of their web page: http://www.prodad.de/gb/support.html

Well... we don't know anything about it YET so let's not jump the gun. It doesn't say anything about supporting OR not supporting 64 bit systems.... or Vegas 64 supporting 32 bit plugins yet for that matter. In another 8 days or so I'll have an answer and then I will be expressing my pleasure/displeasure in terms of emails and such.
