ProDOS DVD? (mac trouble)

Hi everyone, this is my first post....I burned my first authored DVD with DVD Architect recently and I've had 100% success playing it in tabletop players as well as computers...until.....I sent it to my friend with a G4 Mac,,,, he was unable to play it. Is this only because it was a burned DVD? Ultimately the DVD I create will be used for a master for replication - Will the replicated DVD still not play on the Mac? As far as that goes, I know that replication plants will take a DVD-R to be used as a master (DVD-5) so will DVD's burned with DVDA be acceptable for replication? Hope someone can answer these questions for me!!

DVDA should produce DVDs suitable for replication. Macs seem to have a problem playing DVD+R but should be OK with DVD-R. I've certainly been able to play my DVDs in a Mac.
