Profile versus standard landscape video

Movie Studio 16 Platinum - I would like to make a movie to run on a monitor which is 90° to your typical monitor. It is set up in profile orientation versus landscape. Where do I adjust the aspect ratio or the pixel width and height to do this? When I render the movie it always add black areas left and right of the video to make up for the landscape areas I am not using.

set the project as portrait orientation, then in File>Render as... after select one of rendering template - customize that render template on pixel width height.

Thank you! that fixed the aspect ratio. Now the video is oriented correctly. The video is right in the center of the monitor, but the whole monitor is not filled with the video. It's a 36" x 20" monitor, the movie is only roughly 11 3/4" x 6.5". Is there some way to make the video fit to fill the entire screen?

You have an incorrect setting somewhere as it should fill the screen..

Two questions:

  1. Are you perhaps using the PIP track?
  2. Have you cropped your image?

I just realized I am uploading the video into a software to display jpg, pdf, and videos in a scrolling setup. I didn't check that impact. As a test, I set up my computer screen profile and ran the video raw from file explorer and it maxed out the viewing area. I'm going to check in the display software for the setup error. Thanks for your input though.
