Program Shuttle Pro v2 so that the jog wheel can perform two tasks

I need help in figuring out how to program a Shuttle Pro v2 so that the jog wheel can perform two different tasks. For example, say that I already have it programmed to scroll forward and back. How do I program the same jog wheel to also be able to zoom in and out. My understanding is that, in order to do this, I need to program one of the buttons to be a modifier. The problem is that I don’t know the first thing about how to do that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know of any way to program the jog wheel to do different things with or without a modifier. You would have to program the jog wheel to act as a mouse wheel, but then you can't jog. Where did you find information that a modifier would change it? I just program one of the buttons to zoom-in and one to zoom-out.
