Programmed Pause?

I know nothing about Vegas scripting capabilities so I thought I would ask if this is something that's possible through scripting. I already asked this in the standard Vegas forum.

Is it possible through scripting to have timeline with command markers that when played and the cursor reaches a marker, the marker forces playback to pause and wait for a user keystroke before continuing to play. When the cursor reaches the next command marker, the playback pauses again and waits for user keystroke, etc.

Just thought I'd check. Thanks!

Scripts cannot affect playback of the timeline.

Thanks for the info. I sort of thought this would be the case.

Is this a limitation of not every Vegas function being exposed to scriptability? In other words, if they exposed the PLAY/PAUSE functionality would this type of thing be possible?

Thanks!
