Project File Types that Need Saving?

When I'm done creating a DVD with VMS9P and DA, I want to archive the project so I could bring it back up to modify it in the future. What files do I need to save besides the raw video and music media, and the .vf file? Do I need the .dar .ctd .iod .mpg .mpj files? or .bup .ifo .vob .spss files? Will VMS9P reconstruct these work files with just the .vf file?

Thanks for a great forum!

I would save the base essentials only... the rendered video (mpg), the audio (if separate), subtitle track... etc.

Saving veg projects, dar's... etc is a nice idea, but is a dar going to open 3 years from now with DVDa 7 or 8.... or a veg going to open in 4 years time with Vegas Pro 13?

Thanks Blink,
My internal 300G and 500G drives were getting full, so I just bought a 2T eSATA external drive for $200. I have it configured RAID 1 (mirror) for forever backup so that gives about 870G space available. I can transfer my done project folders to this external drive and clean up my workspace. If I want to make adjustments later, I can just copy the appropriate project folder back to the internal drive.
This worked fine with the VMS9P .vf file after telling it where a file had been reloacated, but the DA .dar file retry seems to be missing some other needed files. It came up without proper music/video compilations and screen titles. Where is that stuff filed?
