Project file .veg

Just bought Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0. Unable to open old project file with .veg. Pls advise steps to open such files. Tks

You can't. Movie Studio can't open Vegas Pro veg files. Sorry.

However, I'm not sure if this will work , but if you still have your Vegas application, you may be able launch it, open your project, select all, copy then paste it into the Movie Studio timeline. I know you can do this when you launch VMS more than once but not sure if it will work between Vegas and VMS.

I have tried but it didn't work.
My old Vegas has a missing file WMVCore2.DLL - anywhere I can find one. Apprec.

Do you still have install disc or file if downloaded? If so, you could do a repair install.

Another option is to download the latest version from this site as a trial to open your veg file.
