Project files Find and replace

This function that works perfectly for offline media in any professional software and was working fine from what i recall at Version 9 of the vegas software is broken for every build past version 9.
What i am refering too is reconnect media for offline files , a very simple directory change of media.
The new Editions of Vegas ask to reconnect every single one media file , even canceling need to go of thousands of files and that for a long form edit is imposible.
As i am out of support contract etc. can someone that has support going inform SONY about it.
I dont say i need this on every project but bringing old backups, is painfull and frankly i hate to use substitues for directories etc,,, this function works in every proffesional competitive app.

Maybe you accidently took the wrong search function or missed to select right the file Vegas asks for the first time. If I try to open such a project where all it's media files were switched to another folder I only need to manually select the first file Vegas Pro asks for and it then tells me the next file was also found there and if I want to use same storage. I then select "Yes to all" and everythings working fine. Vegas reconnects all the missing files automatically - assumed the structure of the pathes did not change.

Works fine for me in Vegas Pro 10 and Vegas Pro 11.

Hello Sir,
I wish it was working for me... thats what i meant was working on pre 10.
for me now at either version, don;t ask me the question you mention and i am baffled :(

Hmm, I wonder if anyone else can check that?

Found what it was my problem: Was a project from movie studio i had for years..
So the projects of movie studio dont reconnect media, glad i have only 3 of them.
When i made new project with vegas and moved files , everything was working as intended.

Thanks for replying its working and made me search deeper... :)
