PROJECT MEDIA VIEW

I have always liked using the PROJECT MEDIA VIEW (PMV) more so than the MEDIA MANAGER, mostly due to the many hard drives I have in my system.

My question is, when wanting to change what I see as catagories in the PMV the window of choice will allow you to change only ONE ITEM at a time making the user open it up again for each change you are wanting to make.

It's a small thing, but V7 didn't change that and I was hoping it would. Is there another way to make the PMV changes without having to open click, close, open click, close, etc?

Yup! Is this the one where you get kicked back up to "All Media"? If so I just, strangley, re-repoed it here too Frogger .. Just reported. You report it too.

Yes Grazie... its kind of an irritation, but I like V7 so far... Have had no problems with everything I have done over the past 48 hours... and I do believe it is faster in the rendering process. But I have yet to do some HDef rendering...

We shall see!

I wonder if scripting can access those options, so maybe someone could write a dialog box that lists them all at once and lets you check off all the ones you want to toggle.

'Cause, yeah, it's kind of annoying the way it is.

Rob... great idea! Unfortunately, I have not tried writing any scripts. If anyone in the forum knows how, I would love to learn how to do that! Specifically for this issue.

Again, I know it is a small matter of annoyance, and basically has little to do with the entirety of Vegas. But it is one of those things that I would love to find an answer to, only because the need for Media categories does change from show to show.
