In the last few weeks I have been capturing 1/2" B/W reel to reel tapes.
To identify the files later on I filled the Project Properties box that pops up with a Title = Tape number and Artist = Topic.
Now that I am done with quite a few tapes, I can't find that information anywhere in the file.
Is there a way to retrieve that info?
Assuming that you were using an older version of Vegas Pro to capture the tapes (it's always a good idea to state the Vegas Pro version and build number when posting on the forum), you are probably referring to the following:

If this is the case, in the project go to File/Properties and then select the 'Summary' tab which presumably should contain the data coded in what seems to be an identical window used when capturing. I don't know for sure but it does seem logical because they are identical windows.

And yes, I have kept a machine with a copy of Vegas15 to capture analogue systems.
Unfortunately the 'Summary' tab only appears in the Project Properties, not in individual file properties.
