i have mixed media project (1920 and 1280 source) and because I am doing pan scan i have set project to 1280. for various other reasons, I want to render in 60i. so using the 60i 1920 preset..i choose it > then try to switch the frame size to 1280 and it jumps to a new preset (720). is there a way to keep the 60i at 1280? or is it honoring the 60i setting even when preset jumps?

720i is not a valid HD standard. 720 is progressive only.

so I guess if i want the pan scan I did to look like i had in my 1280x720 timeline my choices are:

720 60p

or use
1080 60i 1920
or
1080 60i 1440

and loose my pan scan frame size

so i did a 720 60p render then converted in handbrake to 29.97

i wonder what the difference is between going vegas 720 60p > handbrake 29.97

VS

going vegas 720 29.97 > handbrake 29.97
