Project starts hanging toward the end

Hi, I have a project with 20 chapter markers, and the first part plays fine after burning with DVD Architect, but when it gets to about an hour in, it starts hanging up and won't play any longer, won't go back to the menu, etc.

The project is a little over 6 gigs so I'm burning to a dual-layer DVD.

If I split it at the intermission and put it on two DVD's, it's fine (I think... I didn't test the second half with chapter markers so maybe I should do that and see if it still works properly).

Does anyone have an idea how I should troubleshoot this?

If you must burn dual layer,
-- buy only the best blanks, TY and Verbatim are good
-- keep your rendered bitrate under 8Mbs
-- let DVDA choose your breakpoint
-- burn at lower than the fastest speed

Even then, there is no guarantee any home player (including yours) will play it. This is not the fault of DVDA. It's just that burned DL on home players is dicey.
