Projector for a monitor?

Is it feasable to use a good projector for a monitor off the timeline via firewire? Does anyone do this? It doesn't have to be a large picture, just good.

I don't know of any reason why it wouldn't work. In fact, i've had a projector connected to firewire through a camcorder when i didn't have a TV monitor handy and it worked fine.

I don't think it will be the same as a balanced monitor but it should be alright if you run a test pattern through it and calibrate it as best you can.
