ProTitler long scroll problem

I'm using ProTitler for some long scrolls, so I can have the control that I don't have with the old scroll tool, but I'm finding a problem with the maximum size.

Once I go past a couple pages, it will no longer scroll up as I type, and I have to shrink it down to where I can barely read it and then eventually stop and start a new text block which I'll have to manually try to match up to the bottom of the first one, while attempting to keep them the same speed.

Is there a better way to do this?

Also, I'm finding that by the second text block of the scroll, the input response becomes VERY slow, where I'm typing many words ahead of it and waiting for it to catch up. It keeps getting slower and slower the more words there are.

Is there any workaround for this?

My system is a dual-Xeon 2.8GHz with 1GB of RAM. The task manager doesn't report any excessive RAM or CPU use when I'm doing this.

Thanks.

no work around, PT keeps everything in memory & updates in RT, that's why it's slower. for plain simple scrolls I still use the original text plugin.

if I were you, i'd type it all in a word program & then copy/paste. that would be easier.

Cool, thanks, putting it in a text file and copy/pasting worked great! Got a five minute scroll in PT now in one text block.
But man, this does take a while to render. The 5 minute scroll in PT over a jumpback is taking 2 hours to render to AVI.
