ProType Titler Example - 10mb? Where to post it?

Grazie wrote on 9/21/2007, 9:36 PM
As per title. I would like to share this, but find I need a GOOD reso to do it. So 10mbs it is.

I've tried and tried Jonathan's "Madison Library" site, but I'm guessing the 10mb is far too large, and I can't get it to upload. I've tried encoding down further, but the clarity of the text takes too much of a hit.

Any further thoughts?

Best regards,

Grazie

YouSendIt.com

Upto 1 GB, if you don't mind the adware it's free.

What a bummer, I thought I had set the maximum filesize to 24MB, but I upped it to 50MB. I'm sorry, Grazie. That service is supposed to be consistent. I don't even publicize it but I always try to make sure that it's running and running well. My apologies.

Jo-Jo! Now problem and definitely NO NEED to apologize to me at all! I have taken advantage of your kind free offer in the past, I will in the future and I will have another go now - if you think it might take this time?

Best regards,

Grazie

Yea, it should take. I've been working on and off for a few months on a new, original forum software that would be specifically designed for these needs. Without all the other fancy crap. Just a storage database for Sony projects. :)

eh? Just tested it with another attempt and no. BUT I did post an empty "TEST" test and that is there.

What now?

You guys are like the Keystone Cops of file uploading. How hard can it be?
Soniclight wrote on 9/22/2007, 2:52 AM
Keystone Cops.... Answer: Uploading via webmail and some IPSs can have file size limits.

Grazie,

I have my own mailserver domain and website -- and a directory I use for clips and stuff I have included in my Qs here at this forum.

So if this turns into more problems, I can also host it if necessary. Email me if such would be needed. I can whip out a dark background page with link to .veg file or whatever else you wish to send me to publish.

I.e. as a good quality Flash file (I have On2 Standard Flix) such as in a more or less recent posting I did. I haven't figured out how to code in a player due to problems with FrontPage, but one can always right click to play it.

Example page shows over-saturation problem which I have since worked on, but it also shows link to download a .wmv file of what's seen in the Flash:

Would that be the incompetent, blustering cop clowns who were incapable of executing the easiest of tasks and which, predictably and inevitably would result in puzzlement, confusion and general mayhem and embarrassment to themselves but produce mirth, entertainment and jollity for the casual onlooker? Would it be those individuals of the Keystone Constabulary you are referring to that we “guys” are imitating?

I’ve heard it said that, to take humorous pleasure in the failings of others, one has to appreciate the paucity of effectiveness in one’s own abilities and endeavours.

A demo sounds extremely useful! I'm looking forward to seeing it (once you Keystone cowboys have got it up, that is).
Grazie wrote on 9/22/2007, 4:22 AM
Ah! It is NOT a demo, as in a tutorial demostration. It is a DEMONSTRATION of the results of what I did.
