Thanks for linking - very informative review. I own CS5 and apart from the improved video features which I probably wouldn't use anyway I'm not too impressed with this upgrade. I've been looking at some of Adobe's teaser videos about forthcoming technology and I hoped for a lot more actually - especially 3D improvements and image debluring. Perhaps that's not in this reviews remit. Considering CS5.5 didn't introduce anything new to PS, CS6 seems a bit light on new, innovative features. What do others think?

For me, PS5.5 does everything I need for stills, but the video editing capability sounds very appealing as an alternative to doing everything in Vegas...

Not really very impressive compared to CS5. I watched a bunch of Lynda.com videos on the new features and they seemed to be marginal improvements. And I can't believe what a big deal they made out of their new "darker" interface which comes standard in their more affordable "Elements" version.

The new text and video stuff seems light-years behind what you can already easily do in Vegas and Bluftitler. I guess if you only know PS, then it may seem like a big leep into video. Of course, if you don't already own any version of PS, version 6 would be a good place to start (though the Elements version does 90% of what the big brother does at a fraction of the cost).

I like the idea of being able to use some of my photoshop plugins like Color FX pro on video. Could open up some interesting possibilities.

Using PS plugins on video is a nice idea but will this work properly?
