PSD file problem

When I inport .psd files that I made in photoshop into VF, they always have a white background and are not transparent.

When I view them in photoshop, they are transparent like they should be, what is wrong? Is there a setting I should change in VF or what?

I am using VF 2.0 with the latest build.

Hmmm, .psd's with tranparent background work just fine for me.

I have no idea what your problem could be so I'll just throw some ideas out and see what sticks.

1) Make sure you put the .psd file in the "Video Overlay" track in Video Factory.
2) In Photoshop, don't flatten the image before saving.
3) In Photoshop, click the "Preserve Transparency" box in the layer palette.

In VF, right click on the file, click properties and make sure the Alpha Channel is set to Premultiplied.
