PsP saved as PSD for Layers?

Grazie wrote on 10/22/2005, 1:52 PM
I know we can use PSD - photoshop layer files within DVDA3 now - anybody using and had success in saving PsP files as a saved PSD file, and opened the separate layers in DVDA3c? If so, can you tell me please?

TIA,

Grazie

Have a trial of PSP Pro X sitting on my desk and, as far as i can see, seem to be able to open a PSP saved .psd file and select the seperate layers in DVDA. Let me know if you found a problem!

RSP? You are very patient!

It was a total RTFM problem . . lack of understandiong and the need for me to apply my natural talents and brain power! - Well mostly it was the RTFM prob!

I needed to make the *-hlt; *-tmb and *-01 layers . .. once I did this . . . well onto the next thing! ! ! - and that would be linkages to and away from the various obits of PsP generated artwork . .. this is far toooo kool!

I'm gonna set up a template within PsP that has layers names and all I have to do is copy and rename areas/layewrs to what I want.

seeshhh . .I really shouldn't be let loose on this stuff. It is rather excellent though . . very intersting indeed.

RTFM is a mighty dangerous problem! Should say the PSP X manual isn't very clear nor helpful and with so many options it's easy to get lost or very frustrated!

Anyway creating some templates and copying the areas/layers seems the best way to save some time on that part of the job

And yes i'm very patient.....unfortunately
