Psychedelic VEG effects

Hi guys.

http://www.swampop.it/video/mazreds_vegas.zip

I've just uploaded in veagsusers.com some "psychedelic" Vegas projects. You can find them at the URL above, too. They are short videos I used to show during the concerts of the band I play in (www.swampop.it).
You are free to use the projects as you want, hoping they could give you some good idea for your productions. They use ONLY generated media, no clip at all (only debugmode 3D LE pluginpack and Wingdings 2 font, which should be already installed in Windows).

Bye everyone.

WOW! Those are some of the best effects I’ve ever seen done with generated media in Vegas. You should upload those to the Sundance Media Group web site for all to see (they have a Motion Background category). I especially like Gradients.veg because the spheres looked 3D and it was as striking as anything I’ve seen in professional backgrounds for sale. I would have never guessed that could be done with Vegas. Bravo!

I went to your web site, but I am ashamed to admit that my parents never taught me speak or read Italian (my last name is Rofrano, Roy is just my "stage" name). In one sense it was there way of forcing us to be totally Americanized, but in another it was their way of being able to talk in front of us without our understanding what they were saying. What it actually did was deny us a large part of our Italian heritage. Some day I would love to learn Italian and visit Salerno Italy where my grandparents were born. Ciao,

~jr

I have as yet actually to "check" them out, as in I've downloaded them to take home and try them tonight. However, by the coments so far, it looks really promising!

Ti ringrazio per la tua generosità!

Paul.

I'm having problems opening the page....Are you going to put them on the sundance site?

Jon

Sarei eternamente grato se li potessi mettere li', perche' sembra dalle risposte che siano veramente eccellenti!!!

Johnny

you are very nice and funny !!! I followed your suggestion and put the veg collection to Sundancemediagroup, so expect to find it there shortly, 'cause I'm waiting for the confirmation.

Thanks for your compliments, and, yes, sorry for the band site's language. We know, we should build up the english version, too, but the fact is that almost all of our fans are italian... Anyway, you can listen to the music, and watch our video (guess which NLE I used to edit it. ;-)). In a day or two I'm going to upload a "promo" of the band, a short reel of us playing in an irish pub here in Turin, so stay tuned !!!

I understand how you feel about your parent's language and their choice not to teach you speak it, using it in some cases like a sort of "secret code". You'd like to be able not only to speak a bit italian, but maybe to better know italian way of life and culture, don't you ?
I wondered more than once how does it feel to have a son speaking a language completely different from yours. I know a man from china who lives here in Italy and speaks only italian with his young daughter: I don't believe she speaks chinese at all. So she broke up with her roots, too...

And sometimes this happens not only with languages, but also with dialects, too, expecially here in Italy, from parents to sons in the last generation. Some Italian dialects are very different from italian official language, and some others vary a lot from part to part of the country: if your parents came to me speaking their dialect, I'm not sure I could understand them !!!

I'd rather wish I could speak English well...

Bye.

Tante Belle Cose,

Jon

I uploaded 3 veggies in zip format, all you do is replace the checkered background with your own video, image, etc. You can modify them to your needs. Hope they are of some use to you guys.

Ciao.

Really a great job, ReneH !!!

I like very much the style and the look of your animated graphics. They can be suitable to wedding video, as you said, but also to psycho-videoclip (expecially the second and third part). Now I'm rendering the fake wedding video of a friend of mine, as a joke...

And the png images are good, too.

Thanks again.
