Publishing to the Web - Canon HG21

On Friday, I bought my first HD camcorder, a Canon HG21. My primary use it to publish short clips to the web, but before long, I think I'll venture into the world of Blu-Ray. So... I have several questions about publishing HD to the web:

1) After reading several posts, it seems that the best format to post HD to the web is 720p 30fps. Here's my Vegas 9.0b 64bit Render Settings. Are these correct?

2) Is there an advantage to using a 2 pass render? I tried this, and it may be a coincidence, but my audio got all garbled.
3) The Canon HG21 seems to like 1080i with a SP setting of 7Mbps. Is there an advantage to changing this, given that the Vegas render settings convert the video to 720p at a lower bitrate?
4) Finally, I've tested some uploads. I have my opinion the the best quality (on my slow laptop), but can I get an opinion from others?
a) YouTube:
b) Vimeo: http://vimeo.com/6665043
c) My own website using SilverLight: http://www.jazzythedog.com/jazzyhg21.aspx

Thanks so much,
...Jerry

Hi Jerry

I think both YT and Vimeo looks good. I will defenatly try theese settings next time I upload something. It sure looks better than my previous uploads.

Thanks for sharing.
