Punching up color

I'm still using MS - purchased Platinum but haven't installed it yet. Anyway, I want to punch up color (increase saturation) in some clips, but can only find a way to adjust tint. Is there a way in MS or Platinum?

I don't have Movie Studio installed at present so i can't check for myself, but is there a "hue, saturation, lightness" filter? The full version of Vegas has this. Slide the saturation slider to the right and you're there.

That isn't an available FX on MovieStudio. I don't know about Platinum, but I didn't see it on any of the promotional literature.

What version of MovieStudio are you using? In my copy of version 4.0, I see "HSL Adjust" as a video FX filter available; I think that's been in previous versions, too. Also, this is still in Platinum, along with three additional color filters.

Thanks, Judd. That is the saturation control. It just passed by my eyes as an unrecognizable thing and I never opened to see what it was.

Sorry about that. I guess i thought it would be obvious that "hue, saturation, lightness" would be HSL.
