purchased with Borix FX bundle with persistent watermark

Purchased Vegas Pro 18 Edit upgrade (from v16) bundled with Boris FX continuum 2020 Film Style Unit + 2020 Title Studio.
No matter what I try to register, uninstal, reboot, reinstall and reregister but still about 98% of the plugins keep showing the watermark. Some forum-posts suggest that it's the Vegas cache cause this.
Does anyone have a serious solution to this issue? Preferrably not a workaround. Thx

Film Style is just one of the 20 Units that make up Boris Continuum Complete (which costs $695 USD for the OFX new licence version), and it may be that the installation process installed all 20 Units. With the 19 Units (other than Film Style and Title Studio) for which there isn't a license, each VFX in those other Units will appear a red X.

If this is what is happening in your case, please have a look at the following BorisFX tutorial from about 3:00 minutes for instructions about the installation process as well as about how to remove the unlicensed Units from Vegas Pro:

Ignore that the tutorial is about Vegas Pro Suite, the principal and process is still the same for any add-on plugins from BorisFX that come with Vegas Pro or Vegas Pro Edit.

... but please be aware that this page describes the 2021 version of Film Style. The version that comes with Vegas Pro is the 2020 version, so please disregard anything headed as 'New'. The 2020 version of Film Style should only have about 8 VFX in that Unit.
