Purchasing

I am looking for a program to replace Windows Movie Maker. Will Movie Studio 16 allow me to import still photos, add songs, add transitions and then burn to DVD? I do not do much video editing. Just simple things like cutting video or removing sound from video clips. If I do choose to purchase this product, which of the 3 should I invest in? Thanks for any help you can provide. I just purchased a new CyperProwerPC running W10 with external DVD burner.

Hi @Deb, if it were me I would purchase Movie Studio 16 Platinum. That should be more than you will need now, but allow you to grow into more advanced technique in the future if you are interested.

@Deb here is a link to the specification so you can look them over yourself and decide. Even a better way, is to download the free trial version and try some of your stills and audio (music) first hand. You can also get an idea how it compares to Windows Movie Maker. The trial is limited only by a maximum render time of 2 minutes, otherwise it is full feature and good for 30 days.

Off hand, not being familiar with your computer or the specs of your stills and music, in general Movie Studio 16 Platinum should handle it and should handle anything you have been using in Movie Maker, but to be on the safe sie I always recommend test the trial version before you buy.
