Purchasing Upgrade Question

If I purchase the boxed version of Vegas 7 + DVD Architect, can I still download Vegas 7 while I wait for the shipment?

Yes, but you won't be able to register it because your serial # is included in the boxed shipment. My understanding is that you can't get the # in advance in order to use a download copy (I could be wrong about this).
