Hi, this may be of use to those who need to make "sub clips" for offline editing or edit XAVC in Vegas.
My version of Vegas 13 will not ingest XAVC XDCAM HD 422 50. I found out at the end of a two day shoot my X70 does not make sub clips either. So I used Adobe CC 2014 to batch encode all the XAVC to WMV so the producer who is on another continent can make a cut list. Adobe converted 128 gigabytes worth of clips without a hiccup. I also batch converted the clips to Adobe MXF OP1A(?) so they are editable in Vegas. There does not appear to be any quality loss, btw. I did have a look at Catalyst Prepare but it didn't seem to offer edit grade resolutions and since I already have CC 2014, there wasn't any compelling reason to spend 199$.
