[q] Audio Track in a movie.

dear,
I'm a beginner in Vegas 4.0.
When I loaded a movie, which was seen well in the Mediaplayer,
I couldn't hear the sound of the movie and the part of Audiotrack in Vegas was empty.
Under this situation, I can't hear any sound
when I rendered the movie to MP3 file.

The purpose of using Vegas is to extract the soundtrack from the movie.
How can I do for doing so?

Thanks in advance.

Sungjun.

Rough guess is that Vegas for some reason can't access the proper codec do de-code the audio. Why this is so is hard to guess, but you either need to get the audio out using another software (VirtualDub is a good example) or get hold of a codec that Vegas can use.

If you can produce more details on what codecs are used, chances are that someone here can help you.
