Q-1: Best Ways/Your Ways to Backup Files While Working?
I have Vegas 6 at this point. I still do work backup in the really old fashioned way in XP though it works:
a) I keep the folder in which the veg and veg.bak files are minimize. Within that folder, I have shortcut to the location of my Firewire backup drive where I backup all Vegas files.
b) Once I've done a bit of editing and wish to backup, I open the folder and drag the veg and veg.bak files I'm currently working on into that shortcut, click "Yes to all." Done.
I do use Cobian Backup for batch backups of various kinds, so perhaps another way to go, but curious as to how you people do it. Always open to most workflow efficient ways to do this.
Is it best to keep these on the system and app drive as per Vegas default --- or have this folder on the same drive/partition as the veg and media files Vegas uses (mine are on D:\)?
Maybe no biggie, but I like to help Vegas along in anyway I can..
