QT render audio problem

I rendered a QT .mov file out of my V8 timeline and when I checked it with QT player I hear what sounds like a flanging effect. Did anyone else come across this problem?

What audio compression and bitrate did you use for the audio?

QDesign @ 48K which is the MOV-3 Mbps default audio compressor.
