question

I asked this question in the DVD forum..but that forum seems to move a bit slower than the vegas forum...so...here is my question..

I have a DVD 5 given to me from a client...I can open the DVD and find the VIDEO and AUDIO folders...but when I drag the video files into my vegas timeline it only shows a quarter of the video that is actually on the DVD. Why can't I find the rest of the video in the folder.

By the way...I need all the video so I can do some re-editing.

Thanks
Jeremiah

Best way is to do a analog capture of the DVD. Vegas doen't really support the input of VOB files, although sometimes people have gotten it to work.

You can put the VOB files on the Vegas timeline, but you'll have to extract the audio separately. Here are some links that provide further explanation:

My problem is that, for example, I have 30 minutes of footage on a DVD, when I drag that VOB file onto the timeline it only shows 10 minutes of video. I have no problem with getting the audio..it actually imports with the video. I just need to find the rest of the video
