Question about burned DVD to Youtube

I made a project in Vegas and everything went fine. I go to upload the DVD project to Youtube (this was 3 weeks later) and it seems the sound is not included. Now I've tried it on two different computers (a Toshiba labtop and a Dell PC) and they both have the same issue. Any ideas?

Youtube is for Videos NOT DVDs.

I've successfully taken DVD video re-encoded it and uploaded to youtube.

Did you render out a video file of the DVD per Youtube's specifications?
